This original acrylic painting was inspired by my "Coonhound".  It is the first in a series of Hound portraits.  I wanted to capture the essence of the hound dog by placing it in its natural habitat.   It almost always has its nose on something and head to the ground to track.  I hope you enjoy the splash of refreshing colors that the morning brings.  It is painted with artist quality acrylic paints on 11" x 14" canvas board.  It comes signed and ready to be framed.
